first camera club outing

Yep  I have joined a camera club.  Hoping someone can teach me how my camera really works.  

This Bird almost doesn't look real...think it is an Oyster Catcher.

We went down to Esquimalt Lagoon - bit of a cloudy day....

Found this pile of pears dumped...and this guy was checking them out..

Think this is a tad off focus....sigh....but great shot kinda. LOL

Up Island

We went Up Island to Qualicum for a golf trip - unfortunately we got rained out....

but I did manage to get this nice shot !!

I snuck over to my neighbours yard to take some fab pictures of her Dahlias 

Still another over there that I didn't get to.....

But I do luv this bright orange and yellow one !!  that tattered look.

At the beach...

WOWZA someone has been busy at one of our local beaches...check it out.

  Again I only had my cell phone with me at the time...
             but turned out sorta - ok....

Road Trip

 Well just did a recent road trip over to Saskatchewan - got a couple of nice pics.

This first one was taken first thing in the morning in Revelstoke, BC.

 Next one is an old farmhouse about 4 hours outside of Moose Jaw, SK

This one I took off the back deck of my daughters home in Moose Jaw, Sk.  What a beautiful morning.

these hawks were hanging around at the house - not sure what kind they are and of course I do not have a FAB lens - so this is the best I could get.  Maybe a sparrow hawk???

Went to the show and shine at the Snowbirds base.  

And my final one...the train tracks in downtown Moose Jaw, SK

 Hi there - thanks for stopping by - today I am sharing a couple of flower photos from my garden....I do love taking pics of flowers if you haven't noticed by now LOL

This fuchsia plant I got for mothers day....great colours and so many blooms

 And of course - life is not complete without Miss Sadie.  Here she is chillin' in the back yard.
